Green Schools Update
Bike Week will be celebrated in our school from May 14th – May 22nd. During this week we encourage everyone to get out on their bikes and enjoy the countryside and the fresh air and experience for themselves the joys of cycling. Children will be taking part in some fun bicycle-related activities throughout the week.
Green schools will be hosting a bike workshop in our school for children in the senior classes, in association with Cycle Right Ireland. This cycle safety training course will teach children how to cycle safely on the roads and encourage them to take up cycling in their daily lives. Cycle right is also offering free certified online cycle training, suitable for advanced senior students, parents and staff, which can be done in their own time.
